Mobile App Developer Flutter / React Native

Role Overview

Codecera Technologies is looking for an experienced Mobile App Developer to work on ongoing and upcoming mobile application projects, including OTT and video streaming platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality Android and iOS applications using Flutter or React Native.
• Build responsive, scalable, and reusable mobile UI components.
• Integrate REST APIs and backend services with mobile applications.
• Implement authentication, user profiles, subscriptions, and payment flows.
• Work on OTT/video streaming features including video playback, content discovery, watch history, My List, and Shorts/Reels-style content.
• Integrate push notifications and analytics.
• Handle application state management and local storage.
• Optimize application performance, loading times, and overall user experience.
• Implement secure video playback and content protection where required.
• Debug and resolve application issues across Android and iOS.
• Prepare production-ready builds for Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Collaborate with backend, UI/UX, and project teams.

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant mobile application development experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of Android and iOS application development.
• REST API integration.
• State management.
• Firebase / Push Notifications.
• Git and version control.
• Payment gateway integration.
• App Store and Play Store deployment.
• Good understanding of mobile application architecture.

Nice to Have

• Golang backend development experience.
• Previous OTT or video streaming application experience.
• HLS/DASH video streaming knowledge.
• Widevine DRM or similar content protection experience.
• Video player integration.
• AWS / cloud services experience.
• CDN integration.
• PostgreSQL.
• GraphQL.
• Experience building Shorts/Reels-style video feeds.
