Role Overview

Deloitte’s Technology & Transformation: EAD: Engineering practice is looking for a Performance Test Engineer to join our team. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data and convert it into actionable information. In this role, you will ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts.
• Analyze test results and identify performance bottlenecks.
• Work closely with Development, DBA, Infrastructure, and Architecture teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare performance reports with actionable recommendations.
• Ensure applications meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in performance engineering.
• Hands-on experience with LoadRunner and JMeter.
• Strong understanding of Performance Testing & Performance Engineering concepts.
• Experience in Load, Stress, Endurance, Volume, and Scalability Testing.
• Expertise in performance analysis, bottleneck identification, and root cause analysis.
• Strong debugging skills across Application, Database, Middleware, and Infrastructure layers.
• Experience with monitoring/APM tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana, etc.
• Good understanding of Web/API Performance Testing (REST/SOAP).
• Knowledge of SQL, Linux, and log analysis.
• Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
• Educational background of BE / BTech.
