Forward Deployed Engineer / AI Solutions Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled Forward Deployed Engineer / AI Solutions Engineer with strong experience in Python, Generative AI, LLM, RAG, AWS/Azure, cloud infrastructure, Docker, CI/CD, and data engineering. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, customers, and technical teams to design, develop, deploy, and maintain production-ready AI applications and enterprise solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy Generative AI, LLM, and RAG-based applications.
• Build enterprise AI agents and conversational applications with function calling, state management, guardrails, and safety mechanisms.
• Develop RAG pipelines involving document ingestion, chunking, embeddings, vector search, reranking, and hybrid retrieval.
• Develop scalable backend APIs using Python, FastAPI, or Flask.
• Develop frontend/UI components using TypeScript.
• Design and manage cloud infrastructure using AWS or Azure.
• Build and deploy applications using Docker and containerization.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
• Work with cloud data services including AWS S3, AWS OpenSearch, data lakes, and cloud data pipelines.
• Implement application monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, latency, reliability, and cloud costs.
• Work with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis, and other relational/NoSQL databases.
• Implement automated testing including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
• Follow best practices for Git, version control, branching, code reviews, clean code, and release management.
• Work on document AI solutions involving PDF processing, OCR, table extraction, layout parsing, and multimodal LLMs.
• Create technical documentation, architecture documents, deployment guides, runbooks, test plans, and release notes.
• Conduct client-facing workshops, requirement-gathering sessions, technical discussions, and solution demonstrations.
• Translate business requirements into scalable and secure technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot production issues and support applications throughout their lifecycle.

Requirements

• 4–6 years of overall IT/software engineering experience.
• Strong professional experience in Python and software development.
• Hands-on experience with AWS or Azure cloud environments.
• Practical experience with Generative AI, LLM, and RAG applications.
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building and deploying production-ready applications.
• Experience working with cloud data services and data pipelines.
• Experience interacting with clients, customers, business stakeholders, or technical teams.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
