Back End Developer Intern

Role Overview

As a Backend Developer Intern at F6IT Fintech & IT Solutions, you will work on practical backend development projects involving server-side programming, API development, database management, authentication, application logic, testing, debugging, and deployment. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build strong practical experience in backend development and software engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and application logic
• Design and develop RESTful APIs for web and application integration
• Work with databases for efficient data storage, retrieval, and management
• Implement authentication, authorization, and access control
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable server-side code
• Perform API testing, debugging, and troubleshooting
• Identify and resolve backend performance and functionality issues
• Implement data validation and error-handling mechanisms
• Integrate backend services with frontend applications
• Work under the guidance of mentors on assigned backend development projects

Requirements

• Working knowledge of at least one backend programming language such as Python, Java, JavaScript/Node.js, PHP, or C#
• Basic understanding of server-side development concepts
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON
• Basic understanding of databases and SQL
• Familiarity with Git and version control concepts
• Basic understanding of authentication and authorization
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Prior Backend Development or Software Development projects will be an added advantage
