Full Stack Software Engineer

Role Overview

Finwallet is building the financial future for Indian families through Family Office Management Services. We are looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer who can take ownership of real product features across the frontend, backend, database, and deployment lifecycle. You will be expected to understand the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and contribute meaningfully across that entire flow.

Responsibilities

• Build production-ready user interfaces using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Design and develop backend REST APIs using Node.js and TypeScript.
• Design, query, and optimize PostgreSQL databases.
• Build complete features across frontend, backend, and database layers.
• Integrate internal and third-party APIs.
• Implement authentication, authorization, validation, error handling, and secure API practices.
• Write meaningful unit and integration tests for production code.
• Debug issues across frontend, backend, database, and deployment environments.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to maintaining code quality and engineering standards.
• Work with Git branching, pull requests, and CI/CD workflows.
• Deploy and support applications in cloud environments.
• Use AI coding tools to accelerate development, debugging, refactoring, testing, and code exploration.

Requirements

• Proficiency in React.js, JavaScript ES6+, and TypeScript.
• Experience with Node.js and Python for backend development.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL, including SQL fundamentals, schema design, and query optimization.
• Experience with testing frameworks like Jest.
• Familiarity with Git workflows and CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Familiarity with Docker and containerization.
• Comfortable using AI coding assistants like GitHub Copilot or Cursor.
