Agentic Development Intern

Role Overview

FolioX is building autonomous intelligence for dispatch and logistics, replacing manual planning with continuous, machine-driven decision-making. The Agentic Development Intern is a full-time remote role focused on supporting the design, development, and evaluation of AI agents for logistics and dispatch systems. This role offers mentorship and exposure to modern AI technologies, agent-based systems, and real-world supply chain use cases.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with programming and software development activities.
• Contributing to prototypes and tools that demonstrate agentic behavior.
• Analyzing performance metrics to improve decision-making models.
• Researching and documenting requirements.
• Collaborating with product and technical teams to refine features.
• Communicating findings and recommendations clearly in writing and in meetings.
• Supporting technical demos and assisting in sales or partner discussions.
• Gathering user feedback to inform future iterations.

Requirements

• Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, evaluate experiments, and solve complex problems.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Foundational software development skills, including familiarity with modern development tools, version control, and collaborative coding practices.
• Programming skills in Python, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Interest or experience in sales-support activities.
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Comfort working independently in a remote setting.
