AWS DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, containerization, automation, and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage AWS infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and automation.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar tools.
• Manage AWS services such as EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch, and Route 53.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerized applications.
• Automate deployments, infrastructure provisioning, and operational processes using Python, Bash, or similar scripting languages.
• Implement cloud security, IAM policies, networking, and best practices.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and application health using tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, security, and operations teams.
• Support high availability, disaster recovery, scalability, and cost optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in DevOps / Cloud Engineering.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS.
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline, or similar CI/CD tools.
• Strong knowledge of Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes/EKS.
• Proficiency in Linux/Unix administration.
• Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Git and version control.
• Knowledge of AWS networking, security, IAM, and monitoring.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development environments.
