MERN Stack Developer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled and motivated MERN Stack Developer to design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications. The candidate will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, API integration, database management, and ensuring high performance and security of web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using the MERN Stack – MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
• Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using React.js.
• Develop secure and scalable back-end applications using Node.js and Express.js.
• Design, manage, and optimize MongoDB databases.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and third-party APIs.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
• Integrate front-end applications with back-end APIs and databases.
• Implement authentication, authorization, and data security.
• Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and responsiveness.
• Conduct testing and fix bugs before deployment.
• Work with Git/GitHub for version control and source-code management.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, software developers, QA teams, and management.
• Participate in requirement analysis, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
• Stay updated with the latest web development technologies and best practices.
• Prepare technical documentation whenever required.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript / ES6+.
• Hands-on experience with React.js.
• Good knowledge of Node.js and Express.js.
• Strong understanding of MongoDB and database concepts.
• Experience in developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design.
• Knowledge of Git and GitHub.
• Understanding of authentication mechanisms such as JWT and OAuth will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge of Redux, Context API, or other state-management libraries.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of web application security and performance optimization.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• B.Tech / B.E. / BCA / MCA / M.Tech or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience as a MERN Stack Developer or Full Stack Developer.
