Job Description
Role Overview
At Guardex, we’re transforming passive CCTV footage into real-time actionable insights for safety, compliance, and operational intelligence in manufacturing and logistics. As an IIT Kanpur–incubated startup, we offer the chance to work at the ground floor of a high-impact AI startup where your code directly influences real-world security and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to building real-time AI/CV pipelines: detection, recognition, tracking, and re-ID
- Work hands-on with cutting-edge vision models and optimize them for edge + cloud
- Assist with data curation, model training, testing, and deployment
- Debug and iterate quickly in real-world camera environments
Requirements
- Solid foundation in Computer Vision & Deep Learning
- Proficiency with PyTorch, YOLO, and OpenCV
- Familiarity with FastAPI/Flask and handling video streams
- Enthusiasm to learn fast and work in a startup environment
Nice to Have
- Prior research/experience in VLMs
- Knowledge of model optimization (ONNX, TensorRT)
