Role Overview

Join HARMAN Automotive’s Ready Care R&D organization, focused on delivering production-ready in-cabin camera and radar features such as driver monitoring, child presence detection, and occupant classification. You will leverage your programming skills and AI/ML fundamentals to develop novel solutions using deep learning and classical algorithms for signal, image, and video processing in a real automotive product development environment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute towards development of new technologies, while exploring new ML tools and technologies
• Analyse datasets, run experiments, and benchmark model performance
• Build and deploy novel proof-of-concept demonstration systems
• Document results and share insights with the team

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or finishing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in CS, ECE, EE, or related fields from a reputed institution
• Strong academic performance and/or prior internship/research publication
• Strong programming skills in Python
• Familiarity with PyTorch and relevant libraries for data science
• Strong conceptual understanding of Deep Learning, Signal Processing, or Computer Vision
• Internship duration will be between 6 months, fully onsite in Bangalore
