Role Overview
The Wordpress & PHP Intern role at Hnaya Skills is a part-time, remote position focused on supporting the design, development, and maintenance of web platforms. The intern will help translate business requirements into functional web features while ensuring consistent quality and security across web properties.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in building and customizing WordPress websites.
- Creating and modifying themes and plugins.
- Implementing responsive, user-friendly layouts.
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- Optimizing site performance.
- Updating content and ensuring security across web properties.
Requirements
- Foundational WordPress skills, including theme customization and plugin configuration.
- Core PHP programming skills, including writing clean code and integrating PHP with WordPress.
- Front-end web skills such as HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Skills in website testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Basic understanding of web hosting, domains, and security best practices.
- Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
