Job Description
Role Overview
We are looking for experienced Software Engineers – Application Support to support, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance critical business applications. The ideal candidate should have strong application support experience along with hands-on knowledge of Python, SQL, Java/Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Angular, AWS, and JIRA.
Responsibilities
- Provide application support for critical business applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, database, and technical issues.
- Analyze application errors, logs, and performance issues to identify root causes.
- Work with development, infrastructure, and other technical teams to resolve incidents.
- Monitor application health and ensure system availability and reliability.
- Perform SQL queries and database troubleshooting.
- Support applications built using Python, Java/Spring Boot, Angular, and related technologies.
- Work with AWS-based application environments.
- Manage and track incidents, service requests, and technical issues using JIRA.
- Participate in root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
- Follow application support, incident management, and change management processes.
- Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge bases.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Application Support, Software Engineering, Production Support, or a related technical role.
- Strong hands-on experience with Python.
- Strong knowledge of SQL.
- Experience with Java / Spring Boot.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL.
- Knowledge of Angular.
- Experience with AWS services and cloud environments.
- Experience using JIRA for incident and issue tracking.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to analyze technical issues and identify root causes.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and support critical applications during assigned shifts.
