As a Java Engineer, you will build and consume RESTful APIs, implement complex business logic, and work with relational databases to support mission-critical applications across various industries.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable Java applications ensuring clean, reusable, and maintainable code aligned with engineering standards.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs with proper validation, exception handling, and secure communication practices.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code following object-oriented principles and design patterns such as Singleton, Factory, and MVC.
- Implement business logic and backend integrations to support seamless interaction between applications, databases, and external systems.
- Work with relational databases by writing optimized SQL queries and ensuring efficient data access and transaction handling.
- Follow secure coding, quality, and development standards to minimize defects and improve application reliability.
- Perform debugging, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to resolve functional and performance-related issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support testing, deployment, and end-to-end delivery.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, backlog refinement, and retrospectives.
- Support CI/CD processes including build automation, deployment activities, and environment configuration.
- Continuously learn modern Java frameworks, tools, and cloud technologies to improve development efficiency and delivery quality.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Java 17+ and OOPS concepts.
- Experience with Microservices and REST APIs.
- Strong understanding of Spring Boot, JPA, and Hibernate.
- Experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
- Familiarity with version control tools like GitLab, GitHub, or Bitbucket.
- Knowledge of build automation tools like Maven.
