Job Description
Role Overview
Kalavya Atelier is a Bangalore based company looking for a Freelance Product Designer to design a collection of unique, design-led brass products for interiors and décor. We are looking for someone who can create original brass products for different spaces and applications, with a strong understanding of form, proportion, detailing and functionality.
Responsibilities
- Design brass décor pieces and objects
- Design brass accessories for interiors
- Create brass products for different spaces and applications
- Develop statement and functional brass pieces
- Create designs inspired by different design eras, including the 50s, 70s and 80s, while bringing a fresh and contemporary perspective
- Deliver 1 new SKU every week
- Ensure every SKU is a new and distinctive concept rather than a variation or replication of an existing product
Requirements
- Strong understanding of form, proportion, detailing and functionality
- Ability to deliver 1 new SKU every week
- Ability to create distinctive, original concepts
- Portfolio and resume required for application
