Software Test Engineers / Software Testers

Role Overview

KOTT Software is seeking highly skilled Software Test Engineers / Software Testers to contribute to enterprise web application testing within an Agile product development environment. This role involves working in a dedicated client environment, engaging with Fortune 100 customers, and interacting closely with onsite teams to support product development, maintenance, and application modernization.

Responsibilities

• Perform software manual testing and related activities in a web-based application environment.
• Analyze user stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria to identify test scenarios and testing scope.
• Develop and implement test plans, test strategies, test cases, and test reports for regression, functional, and performance testing.
• Execute testing for web applications and backend services.
• Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and Swagger.
• Validate API requests and responses, including positive, negative, boundary, and error scenarios.
• Perform basic database/data validation using SQL queries.
• Test third-party and external integrations and validate end-to-end data flow.
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using Azure DevOps or other defect-tracking tools.
• Work closely in an Agile development team environment to meet release schedules.
• Record and track defects through web-based project management tools.
• Attend US/Europe client meetings, which may require flexible working hours.

Requirements

• Minimum 1+ years of experience in developing and executing test cases in a client-driven environment.
• Prior experience in testing web-based or enterprise-level applications is a plus.
• Proven experience in Manual Testing, including writing test cases, identifying scenarios, and creating test plans/strategies.
• Sound knowledge of STLC, software testing methodologies, and procedures.
