QA Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer with experience in both manual and automation testing. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of software testing fundamentals, automation concepts, and Playwright, along with the ability to quickly understand new applications, technologies, and business domains.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Test web and mobile applications across different platforms and environments.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Apply automation testing concepts and best practices, including the Page Object Model (POM).
• Validate APIs, databases, data, and end-to-end application workflows.
• Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
• Identify edge cases, potential risks, and gaps in requirements.
• Quickly understand new business domains, application workflows, and technologies.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders to ensure product quality.

Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing.
• Strong understanding of manual and automation testing concepts and best practices.
• Strong knowledge of automation framework concepts, including Page Object Model (POM).
• Knowledge of Playwright, Playwright MCP and Playwright Test Agents.
• Experience creating and maintaining reusable and scalable automated test suites.
• Strong ability to create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
• Knowledge of database systems and SQL for data validation.
• Basic understanding of API testing and REST APIs.
• Experience testing web and mobile applications.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies, applications, and business domains.
• Ability to understand complex workflows and identify edge cases and potential risks.
• Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong sense of ownership.
