Role Overview
We are looking for a hands-on Azure Cloud / DevOps Engineer with 2–5 years of experience in Azure infrastructure, Linux administration, CI/CD, deployment automation, monitoring, security, and production troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure infrastructure across Development, UAT/Staging, and Production.
- Manage Azure VMs, App Services, Storage, MySQL, VNets, Subnets, NSGs, DNS, Load Balancers, and related resources.
- Administer Linux/Ubuntu servers, including Nginx/Apache, users, permissions, services, disks, logs, and SSL certificates.
- Create and maintain Git/GitHub and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate application deployments, releases, rollbacks, and routine operational tasks.
- Monitor infrastructure and applications using Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
- Troubleshoot server, application, networking, database, DNS, SSL, and deployment issues.
- Implement Azure security, RBAC, NSGs, firewall rules, SSH security, secrets management, and server hardening.
- Manage Azure backups, restore activities, and disaster recovery.
- Work closely with development and QA teams for deployments and production support.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Mandatory experience in Microsoft Azure (VM, App Service, Storage, MySQL, VNet, NSG, RBAC, Azure Monitor & Backup).
- Linux/Ubuntu administration.
- Nginx/Apache.
- Git/GitHub & GitHub Actions.
- CI/CD and deployment automation.
- Networking – TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, Firewall, VPN, Subnets.
- Basic Bash / PowerShell / Python scripting.
- Production troubleshooting and incident management.
