Role Overview

Medinex Workforce is hiring Backend Developer Interns for a full-time remote internship opportunity. This role is suitable for candidates who want practical exposure to server-side development, API creation, database operations, backend logic, debugging, authentication basics, and web application support.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and maintaining backend components for web applications.
• Support the creation and testing of APIs under team guidance.
• Work with databases for basic data storage, retrieval, updates, and validation.
• Assist in writing server-side logic using Python, Node.js, or similar technologies.
• Help identify and troubleshoot backend errors, API issues, and data-related problems.
• Support integration between frontend components and backend services.
• Work with JSON data, request-response handling, and basic authentication concepts.
• Follow coding standards, documentation practices, and backend development guidelines.
• Use Git or similar version-control tools for assigned development tasks.
• Coordinate with developers to understand technical requirements and project workflows.
• Maintain simple documentation for APIs, code changes, and completed tasks.
• Complete assigned backend development tasks within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• Candidates with basic understanding of programming and backend development concepts.
• Students, fresh graduates, or entry-level candidates interested in server-side development.
• Candidates familiar with at least one language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or PHP.
