Role Overview

Medinex Workforce is hiring Python Developer Interns for a full-time remote internship opportunity. This role is suitable for candidates who want practical exposure to Python programming, backend development basics, API handling, automation, debugging, and software development workflows.

Responsibilities

• Assist in writing, testing, and maintaining Python code for assigned tasks.
• Support the development of scripts, utilities, and backend components.
• Work with REST APIs, JSON data, and basic database operations when required.
• Help identify and fix coding errors or functionality issues.
• Assist in building small application features using Python-based frameworks.
• Follow coding standards and basic development practices.
• Use Git or similar version-control tools for assigned work.
• Prepare simple documentation for completed tasks.
• Coordinate with the team to understand project requirements.
• Complete assigned development tasks within agreed timelines.

Requirements

• Candidates with basic knowledge of Python programming.
• Students, fresh graduates, or entry-level candidates interested in software development.
• Candidates familiar with functions, loops, conditions, data structures, and basic logic building.
• Candidates willing to learn backend development, APIs, databases, and Git.
• Candidates who can work independently in a remote environment and communicate clearly.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of Flask, Django, or FastAPI is preferred.
• Familiarity with SQL or database concepts is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of REST APIs and JSON is helpful.
