Role Overview
MetLife is seeking a Jr. Software / Platform Engineer II to join our team in Pune. As part of our New Frontier strategy, we are building an AI-enabled, people-centered future. You will work on designing, developing, and maintaining full stack applications to deliver scalable and responsive solutions within the financial services sector.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain full stack applications using JavaScript, Spring Boot, Microservices, MySQL, and React.
- Work on both server-side and client-side components to deliver scalable and responsive applications.
- Apply design principles and patterns in creating enterprise-level solutions.
- Implement unit tests as needed.
- Ensure adherence to established timelines.
Requirements
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in creating microservices using JavaScript and Spring Boot tech stack.
- Experience with full stack development including MySQL and React.
