Junior Software Developer Intern

Role Overview

Mystri AI builds software for business workflows that are still held together by email, WhatsApp, spreadsheets and repetitive manual work. We are looking for a software developer intern who enjoys taking a rough idea and turning it into something people can actually use. This is a hands-on role where you will work directly with the founder to develop features end to end and help build production-ready software.

Responsibilities

• Build, test and debug Python features
• Turn product requirements into simple, reliable software
• Work with APIs, databases, documents and data-processing workflows
• Use AI-assisted coding tools thoughtfully and review their output critically
• Test real behaviour, identify incorrect assumptions and verify that features work as intended
• Document your decisions and communicate clearly about progress or blockers

Requirements

• Comfortable building with Python
• A sound understanding of basic programming and software-development concepts
• At least one completed project beyond following a tutorial
• Basic familiarity with Git, APIs and databases, or the ability to learn them quickly
• A habit of finishing projects and explaining how you verified that they work
• Clear communication when you are stuck or uncertain
