Responsibilities

• Engineer and maintain innovative, customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust solutions.
• Work within a feature team to engineer software, scripts, and tools that are often complex.
• Liaise with engineers, architects, and business analysts across the platform.
• Produce complex and critical software rapidly and of high quality.
• Take responsibility for the full software life cycle, from initial development through enhancement, maintenance, and decommissioning.
• Collaborate to optimize software engineering capability.
• Design, produce, test, and implement working code.
• Work across the life cycle including requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, deployment, and operations.

Requirements

• At least 4-8 years of experience in Java, Spring Boot, Maven, DB2, and GitLab.
• Expertise in developing, testing, and deploying enterprise-grade applications.
• Hands-on experience in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
• Experience building scalable, high-performance applications and supporting platform/service delivery.
• Skilled in customer-focused software engineering and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience with DevOps, Testing, and Agile methodology.
• Background in solving highly complex, analytical, and numerical problems.
• Experience implementing programming best practices regarding scalability, automation, virtualization, optimization, availability, and performance.
