Role Overview
We are looking for an Embedded Systems Engineer - Intern to design and develop firmware for embedded products. You will work on embedded systems, LoRa-based wireless communication, and real-time data exchange, contributing to indigenous drone and RC technologies under the Make in India initiative.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop firmware for embedded products using C/C++ on STM32 or similar microcontrollers.
- Work on embedded systems, LoRa-based wireless communication, and real-time data exchange.
- Integrate peripherals and interfaces such as UART, SPI, I2C, ADC, PWM, GPIO, and timers.
- Develop and maintain bootloaders, DFU update mechanisms, and firmware upgrade flows.
- Interface with sensors and modules such as GPS, RF transceivers, and IoT connectivity devices.
- Debug hardware-software issues using serial logs, logic analysis, and board-level testing.
- Optimize firmware for memory, speed, reliability, and low-power operation.
- Collaborate with hardware, PCB, and testing teams to bring products from prototype to production.
- Maintain technical documentation, code structure, and version control practices.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Embedded C/C++ programming.
- Familiarity with microcontrollers such as STM32, ESP32, Arduino, or ARM Cortex-based platforms.
- Basic understanding of digital electronics and electronic circuits.
- Knowledge of communication protocols like UART, SPI, and I2C.
- Basic understanding of PCB design and electronic components is an advantage.
- Interest in IoT, drones, wireless communication, RF systems, or embedded product development.
- Familiarity with development tools such as STM32CubeIDE, Keil, VS Code, or Arduino IDE is a plus.
- Basic understanding of version control (Git) is desirable.
- Completed a Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or a related field.
