Role Overview
As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for deploying and managing cloud infrastructure, building automation pipelines, and implementing Infrastructure as Code to ensure reliable, secure, and scalable systems.
Responsibilities
- Deploy and Manage Cloud Infrastructure: Build and maintain reliable, secure, and scalable systems using AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
- Build Automation Pipelines: Design continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Provision and manage environments reproducibly using Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormation.
- Manage Containers: Use Docker for containerization and Kubernetes for orchestration in production.
- Monitor Systems: Track system performance, uptime, and security using tools like AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, or Prometheus.
- Collaborate with Developers: Act as a bridge between development and operations teams to resolve bugs and streamline releases.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with core AWS architectural components and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD platforms and IaC frameworks like Terraform.
- Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Linux Shell scripting for automation.
- Solid working knowledge of Linux and Unix environments.
