Software Developer Intern

Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Software Developer Intern to join our technology team. The candidate will work on web-based applications, backend development, debugging, testing, and implementation of new features under the guidance of experienced developers.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications and software features.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using JavaScript.
• Work with Node.js for backend development and server-side applications.
• Assist in developing APIs and integrating third-party services.
• Debug and resolve basic technical and coding issues.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and performance improvements.
• Work with databases and understand basic data handling.
• Collaborate with developers, designers, and other team members.
• Understand project requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Maintain proper documentation of code and development processes.
• Stay updated with new technologies, frameworks, and software development practices.

Requirements

• Good understanding of JavaScript.
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Node.js.
• Understanding of HTML and CSS.
• Basic knowledge of REST APIs.
• Understanding of frontend and backend development concepts.
• Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub is preferred.
• Good logical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• B.Tech / B.E. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; BCA / MCA or equivalent.
