Laravel Backend Developer – AI Integration (LLM/API)

Role Overview

We are looking for a Laravel Backend Developer with a focus on AI Integration to join our team. You will be responsible for integrating advanced LLMs like Gemini, OpenAI, and Claude into our OneInfini ERP system, building innovative features such as the OneInfini AI Teacher Assistant and various automated educational modules.

Responsibilities

• Integrate Gemini 2.5 Pro API into OneInfini ERP
• Build the OneInfini AI Teacher Assistant
• Develop modules including AI Lesson Planner, Question Paper Generator, Answer Sheet Evaluation, Worksheet Generator, Circular Generator, and Student Report Analysis
• Create a Laravel AI service layer to allow seamless switching between Gemini, Claude, and OpenAI
• Maintain API security and usage limits
• Track AI usage and cost per school
• Improve AI prompts for better educational output

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience (2+ years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of PHP & Laravel
• Experience building REST APIs and integrating third-party APIs
• Understanding of API authentication, JSON, Webhooks, Rate limits, and API cost management
• Proficiency in MySQL database design
• Experience with Laravel queues/jobs for asynchronous processing
• Basic knowledge of cloud deployment (AWS preferred)
• Hands-on experience with Google Gemini API, OpenAI API, and Claude API
• Skills in Prompt Engineering and creating AI workflows
• Experience with token usage optimization and building AI chat/assistant features
