Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Overview

The Quality Assurance Engineer internship is an on-site role based in Bhubaneswar. The intern will support the QA team in planning, designing, and executing test cases for web and software applications developed by OPM Corporation. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in software testing within a fast-paced, technology-driven environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, and usability testing of web and software applications.
• Plan, design, and execute test cases and detailed test scenarios.
• Document defects, validate fixes, and ensure products meet quality standards and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and reproduce issues.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and documentation.

Requirements

• Pursuing or having completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong analytical thinking and high attention to detail.
• Ability to follow structured processes and documentation standards.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.
• Basic familiarity with testing tools or bug-tracking systems like JIRA or Trello is beneficial.
