QA Engineer (Manual+Automation, AI Exposure)

Role Overview

We are looking for a QA Engineer (Manual+Automation, AI Exposure) to design, write, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for web, API, and AI-driven features. This role involves performing functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing, as well as building automated test suites and validating AI/ML outputs for accuracy and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain test plans, test cases, and test data for web, API, and AI-driven features
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across releases
• Build and maintain automated test suites for UI and API layers
• Validate AI/ML outputs including accuracy, consistency, edge cases, bias, and graceful failure handling
• Test REST APIs and data pipelines, verifying data quality and integration correctness
• Log, track, and triage defects clearly, and verify fixes through to closure
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and report on quality metrics
• Partner with product, data science, and engineering to embed quality throughout the sprint

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in QA / software testing, covering both manual and automation testing
• Hands-on automation experience with frameworks such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
• Experience testing AI/ML or data products
• API testing experience with tools like Postman or REST Assured
• Working knowledge of Python, JavaScript, or Java for test automation
• Proficiency in SQL for data validation and back-end behavior testing
• Strong grasp of QA methodologies, SDLC/STLC, and Agile/Scrum practices
• Willingness to work during EST shift (9.30 PM - 6.30 AM) if required
