Software Development Engineer

Role Overview

Ralakde Automation is seeking a Software Development Engineer to design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable web applications and software services. This role spans software development, DevOps, cloud infrastructure, and production operations to ensure high availability and reliability of SaaS products and automation platforms.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services using Python and Django.
• Build responsive frontend applications using React.js and Next.js.
• Manage relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
• Manage cloud infrastructure on platforms like AWS, DigitalOcean, or Azure.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage Linux/Unix environments.
• Develop infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Monitor application health and implement logging, alerting, and observability solutions.
• Ensure secure software development practices, including robust authentication and authorization.

Requirements

• Proven experience in full-stack development with backend and frontend frameworks.
• Strong proficiency in database management and SQL optimization.
• Experience with DevOps practices, including containerization and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with cloud service providers and Infrastructure as Code.
• Ability to troubleshoot production incidents and perform root-cause analysis.
