Quality Engineering Intern

Role Overview

Socyio is looking for a QA & Product Testing Developer who will be responsible for testing web and mobile products, identifying bugs and usability issues, and helping the development team continuously improve the product. This role requires someone who can think like a developer and test like a QA engineer, understanding the root cause of issues and potentially helping to fix them.

Responsibilities

• Test web and mobile applications across different devices, browsers, and user scenarios.
• Create and execute test cases, test scenarios, regression tests, and acceptance tests.
• Identify, reproduce, document, and track bugs and inconsistencies.
• Perform functional, UI/UX, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
• Verify APIs, forms, authentication, permissions, notifications, and dashboards.
• Work closely with developers to understand technical issues and verify fixes.
• Identify usability issues and suggest improvements to product workflows.
• Where technically capable, fix minor bugs, frontend issues, and UI issues directly.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of software testing and QA fundamentals.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving ability.
• Good understanding of web applications and how they work.
• Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript.
• Familiarity with browser Developer Tools.
• Understanding of APIs and basic API testing.
• Ability to identify and reproduce bugs systematically.
