Backend Developer

Role Overview

Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable backend applications and manage robust backend infrastructure to ensure high performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable backend applications using Node.js, Python, and PHP.
• Build and maintain REST APIs and backend services for web and application platforms.
• Design, manage, and optimize databases to ensure performance, reliability, and data integrity.
• Handle database queries, relationships, indexing, backups, and performance optimization.
• Implement and maintain cache management to improve application speed and reduce server/database load.
• Manage application servers, configurations, environments, logs, and server performance.
• Handle multiple deployments across development, staging, and production environments.
• Manage deployment processes, version releases, rollbacks, and production updates.
• Monitor backend applications and servers to identify and resolve performance issues, errors, and downtime.
• Troubleshoot backend, database, server, and deployment-related issues.
• Maintain secure and reliable backend infrastructure and follow development best practices.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and other technical team members to integrate backend services.
• Maintain technical documentation for APIs, databases, deployments, and server configurations.
• Ensure timely completion of assigned development and deployment tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience in backend development.
• Ability to manage multiple deployment environments.
• Strong understanding of database management and server performance.
