ASDE - Fullstack

Role Overview

Amber is a global student accommodation platform that helps students find and book full-time housing near top universities across the world. We are seeking an exceptional SDE 1-Fullstack to join our team with at least 1 year of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience with at least one object-oriented language and a hunger to solve hard and varied problems.

Responsibilities

• Work on constantly new problems and be open to doing proof of concepts.
• Develop and maintain software using agile methodologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement optimisations & solve tech debts.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in a full stack role
• Comfortable working with both frontend and backend technologies.
• Solid understanding of frontend development principles, including component-based architecture, state management, and responsive design.
• Hands-on experience with modern JavaScript frameworks. React experience is a big plus.
• Extensive experience with at least one object-oriented language.
• Experience with working with Relational and/or NoSQL databases.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
