Full Stack Developer Intern

Role Overview

Amber is a leading global student housing platform helping millions of students find accommodation worldwide. We are looking for a talented Engineering Intern to join our growing team. As a tech-stack agnostic startup, we value individuals eager to learn and contribute to both frontend, backend, and infrastructure development in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain high-quality web and mobile applications using React and React Native.
• Collaborate with product managers and designers to deliver intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
• Optimize the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Assist in building and maintaining robust backend systems using modern technologies like Node.js and Python.
• Work on RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and database integrations.
• Identify and fix bugs and bottlenecks across the tech stack.

Requirements

• Current student or recent graduate in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience or coursework in frontend development (e.g., React, React Native, JavaScript, TypeScript) and/or backend development (e.g., RESTful APIs, SQL/NoSQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• A willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and tools.
