Role Overview
Therm-X is expanding its suite of internal software platforms, tools, and scripts that support engineering, manufacturing, and test operations across the organization. This is a hands-on, full-stack software engineering role where a core part of the workflow is AI-assisted, agentic programming. Engineers work fluently alongside AI coding agents to design, draft, refactor, and test code, maintaining full ownership of the results.
Responsibilities
- Develop, extend, and maintain web application features and internal tools across the full stack (backend, database, and front end).
- Work alongside AI coding agents as a primary development tool, directing, reviewing, debugging, and owning the code produced.
- Integrate internal platforms with external systems and services such as ERP, Microsoft 365 / Graph, and internal APIs.
- Develop and maintain automation for test and measurement systems and support desktop field-client applications.
- Troubleshoot bugs, data issues, and integration problems across the platform.
- Design and maintain schema changes, queries, and stored procedures against SQL Server.
- Collaborate with HQ engineering to prioritize work and drive continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 2–5+ years of experience building and maintaining web applications or line-of-business software systems.
- Demonstrated proficiency using AI coding agents (e.g., Claude Code) as a day-to-day development tool.
- Ability to critically review AI-generated code for correctness, security, and maintainability.
- Strong foundation in software fundamentals including data structures, control flow, APIs, and testing.

- Exposure to test and measurement or industrial automation.
