Role Overview
As an Associate III - Semiconductor Product Validation at UST, you will be responsible for developing and executing validation plans, test cases, and strategies to ensure the quality of semiconductor products. You will design automated test frameworks and validate firmware, embedded systems, and Linux platforms to drive product excellence.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute validation plans, test cases, and test strategies based on product requirements.
- Design and implement automated test frameworks for functional, regression, integration, system, and performance testing.
- Develop automation scripts to improve test coverage and reduce manual testing effort.
- Validate firmware, embedded systems, Linux platforms, device drivers, and application software.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams for resolution.
- Perform hardware-software integration testing and system validation.
- Develop automated CI/CD validation pipelines and support continuous testing efforts.
- Execute stress, reliability, performance, and scalability testing.
- Create and maintain test reports, validation metrics, and quality dashboards.
- Participate in requirement reviews, design reviews, and risk assessments to ensure testability.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and development processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in software, firmware, embedded, or platform validation.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Experience in test case development, defect tracking, and test management.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Shell, or similar programming languages.
- Experience with automation frameworks and test execution tools.
- Knowledge of Linux operating systems and command-line environments.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
