Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer – AWS to design, automate, deploy, and maintain secure, scalable, and highly available cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, Jenkins, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), along with knowledge of AWS networking, security, monitoring, and disaster recovery.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage scalable and highly available AWS cloud infrastructure.
- Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
- Build, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Kubernetes.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, configuration, and operational processes.
- Manage AWS services including EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Route 53, API Gateway, CloudFront, and WAF.
- Implement and maintain secure AWS environments using IAM and cloud security best practices.
- Support microservices-based applications and cloud-native deployments.
- Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and performance management solutions.
- Implement backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Work with development teams to integrate automated builds, testing, and deployments into CI/CD workflows.
- Manage build and dependency processes using tools such as Maven.
- Automate server and application configuration using Chef where required.
- Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, networking, and application-related issues.
- Ensure infrastructure and deployment processes follow security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Apply ITIL practices for incident, change, problem, and service management.
- Participate in production support, incident resolution, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, or a related role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services.
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Hands-on experience building and managing Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices.
- Experience with AWS networking, security, compute, storage, and database services.
- Good knowledge of VPC, IAM, EC2, S3, RDS, Route 53, CloudFront, API Gateway, and WAF.
- Experience with monitoring, logging, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud deployments.
- Strong scripting and automation skills.
- Good problem-solving and communication skills.
