Automation Test Engineer

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Engineer (EL3) with strong hands-on expertise in Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright and experience in the RxClaim / Pharmacy Benefits Management (PBM) domain. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for mission-critical healthcare and pharmacy claims applications.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright.
• Develop reusable and maintainable automation scripts for web-based healthcare applications.
• Create and execute automated functional, regression, integration, system, end-to-end, smoke, and sanity tests.
• Implement automation best practices including Page Object Model, reusable utilities, test data management, and parameterized testing.
• Validate RxClaim and Pharmacy Benefit Management workflows, including claims processing, adjudication, benefit configurations, and member eligibility.
• Design and execute API test cases using Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent tools.
• Write SQL queries to validate backend data and business transactions.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Identify, document, track, and verify defects through closure.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Software Testing and Test Automation.
• Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver and/or Playwright.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language: Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience developing and maintaining automation frameworks using TestNG, JUnit, Cypress, or Playwright Test.
• Strong understanding of API Testing and experience with Postman or REST Assured.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database validation.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Hands-on experience with RxClaim and Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) systems is highly preferred.
