Role Overview
Wells Fargo is seeking a Software Engineer to participate in low to moderately complex initiatives and projects associated with the technology domain, including installation, upgrades, and deployment efforts. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and debugging programs while identifying opportunities for service quality and availability improvements.
Responsibilities
- Participate in technology domain initiatives including installation, upgrades, and deployment.
- Identify opportunities for service quality and availability improvements.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document projects and programs.
- Review and analyze technical assignments and research alternative technology domains.
- Present recommendations for resolving issues and escalate as needed to meet SLAs.
- Exercise independent judgment regarding security and compliance requirements.
- Provide information to technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- 2+ years of software engineering experience or equivalent.
- Experience with enterprise-grade applications focusing on scalability, security, and performance.
- Ability to iterate quickly and adapt to evolving requirements.
