Full Stack Developer - Intern

Role Overview

At Whitecarrot, we're building the AI Talent Marketplace of the future. We're on a mission to transform how companies hire by combining real-world recruiting experience with AI-native technology. This is a founder-style builder role in a fast-growing, bootstrapped startup where you will shape the future of AI-driven software.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype, and ship end-to-end product features across frontend and backend.
• Build and orchestrate AI agents into product workflows using frameworks like LangGraph, CrewAI, or similar.
• Translate vague product ideas into working MVPs, fast.
• Improve existing features based on real user feedback.
• Write clean, scalable code with a modern stack.
• Collaborate directly with product, design, and AI teams to turn ideas into shipped experiences.
• Use AI-powered tools like Cursor, Copilot, and v0.dev to speed up coding, testing, and debugging.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions.

Requirements

• 3 months to 6 months of hands-on experience as a Full Stack Developer.
• Proven experience building and shipping real products.
• Skilled in JavaScript/TypeScript, React or Next.js, and backend tech like Node.js, Python, or Java.
• Comfortable designing PostgreSQL schemas and scalable data models.
• Curious about or experienced with AI agentic frameworks (LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen).
• Startup DNA — ability to move fast and take initiative.
• Strong debugging instincts and problem-solving skills.
• Bonus: experience deploying to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or integrating OpenAI/Hugging Face.
