Role Overview
We're looking for a full stack engineering intern to work directly with the founding team on core product. You'll ship real features that go live for real users, not toy projects. Expect to touch the frontend, backend, and infrastructure in your first few weeks.
Responsibilities
- Building UI in React/TypeScript for the app builder, chat interface, and workflow views
- Backend work in Python/FastAPI: APIs, agent orchestration, tool integrations
- Working with Postgres and pgvector for memory, retrieval, and data storage
- Integrating third-party tools and APIs (Slack, Gmail, calendars, and more)
- Working with LLMs (Claude) directly: prompt design, tool calling, agent behavior
- Deploying and debugging on GCP
Requirements
- Comfortable writing production code in at least one modern frontend & backend frameworks (React and Python preferred)
- Understands databases and can write and reason about SQL
- Curious about LLMs and agents, even without professional experience: side projects, hackathons, or coursework count
- Strong programming skills in Python, FastAPI, React, TypeScript
- Can read a codebase, understand existing patterns, and follow them rather than reinventing
- Comfortable with ambiguity: at an early-stage startup, specs are thin and priorities shift
Nice to Have
- Experience with vector databases or RAG pipelines
- Experience with agent frameworks or building tools/functions for LLMs
- Contributions to open source or a personal project you can show us
- Experience with real-time communication protocols (WebSockets, WebRTC)
Skills
- React
- Python
- FastAPI
- TypeScript
- GCP
Benefits
- Direct mentorship from the founding team (ex-Kissflow, 10+ years building enterprise SaaS)
- Ownership over real features from day one, not busywork
- A front-row seat to how an early-stage startup actually operates
- Stipend (15k)
- Possibility of a full-time offer based on performance
