Data Platform Engineer

Role Overview

As a Data Platform Engineer, you will assist with the data platform blueprint and design, encompassing the relevant data platform components. You will collaborate with Integration Architects and Data Architects to ensure cohesive integration between systems and data models, supporting the development and refinement of the data platform architecture.

Responsibilities

• Perform independently and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME).
• Actively participate and contribute to team discussions.
• Provide solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align platform design with business requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve data platform issues to maintain system reliability.
• Document platform design decisions and integration processes.
• Support and guide junior team members by sharing best practices.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience.
• Minimum 3 years of specific experience in Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform.
• 15 years of full-time education.
• Experience with cloud-based data processing and analytics solutions.
• Strong understanding of data integration techniques and data modeling concepts.
• Familiarity with distributed computing frameworks and scalable data architectures.
• Ability to optimize data workflows and improve platform performance.
