Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Project Engineer/Coordinator to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will be at the heart of our operations, contributing to a wide variety of projects. You will have the unique opportunity to engage in both the consultancy (planning, design, analysis, estimation) and construction (execution, supervision) phases, providing a holistic view of project delivery and professional growth.
Responsibilities
- Consultancy & Pre-Construction: Assist in project planning, feasibility studies, and developing project scopes. Prepare detailed cost estimations, budgets, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities). Conduct site surveying and analysis to inform design and planning decisions. Contribute to technical designs and solutions for building construction and the repair and rehabilitation of damaged structures.
- Construction & Project Execution: Support the supervision of construction activities to ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards. Assist in project scheduling, resource allocation, and progress tracking. Prepare and manage project billing. Maintain accurate project documentation, including reports, drawings, and site diaries. Liaise with contractors, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure clear communication.
Requirements
- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and building codes.
- Experience with estimation, quantity surveying, and billing processes.
- Familiarity with structural repair and rehabilitation techniques is a significant advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities, outstanding communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset.
