Role Overview
We are seeking an analytically driven Software Development Intern to engineer and maintain direct API integrations and automated sales pipelines. This role centers on architecting seamless data synchronization workflows between Apollo.io, Zoho CRM, and internal databases to eliminate manual data entry and streamline outbound and inbound sales operations. The position demands a solid understanding of core programming logic, structured data handling, and backend communication, focusing on designing webhook listeners, mapping data schemas, and implementing error-handling pipelines.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable REST API integrations connecting Apollo.io with Zoho CRM.
- Build end-to-end automated workflows for lead assignment and sales notifications using custom scripts and platform webhooks.
- Write clean, modular, and maintainable scripts to parse, clean, transform, and map complex, multi-nested JSON payloads.
- Implement robust error-handling mechanisms, including retry logic and payload validation.
- Conduct functional and integration testing using tools like Postman.
- Write and execute structured SQL queries to store, reconcile, and audit synchronized sales records.
- Troubleshoot and resolve sync bottlenecks, payload mismatches, and authentication token drops.
- Document technical specifications, data mapping rules, and endpoint configurations.
Requirements
- Completed or pursuing a bachelor's/diploma degree in computer science, Information Technology, MCA, or a related engineering stream.
- Strong algorithmic thinking and proficiency in Python or JavaScript / Node.js.
- Solid understanding of RESTful architecture, HTTP methods, and authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, API Keys).
- Practical fluency in data handling, particularly with JSON parsing and schema mapping.
- Familiarity with Zoho CRM and Apollo.io API capabilities.
- Fundamental knowledge of databases and SQL.
- Hands-on exposure to Git/GitHub and Postman.
