Job Description
Role Overview
We are seeking a Software Engineer I (Mainframe) to join our team. This role focuses on the development and support of critical mainframe applications, ensuring high performance and reliability of our core systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and successfully deploy enhancements and new projects.
- Write and maintain COBOL programs to update and access DB2 databases.
- Support and maintain mainframe technologies including VSAM, IBM JCL, and associated utilities.
Requirements
- Proven experience in COBOL development.
- Hands-on experience with DB2 database management within a mainframe environment.
- Proficiency in VSAM, IBM JCL, and mainframe utilities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.
