Role Overview
Design, build, and deploy AI agents using AI Foundry and Copilot Studio to solve real business problems. This role focuses on implementing core agent capabilities including tool calling, multi-step planning, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) while ensuring production readiness through engineering excellence and observability.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy AI agents using Foundry + Studio to solve real business problems.
- Implement core agent capabilities: tool/function calling, multi-step planning, task decomposition, and RAG.
- Develop agent workflows integrating APIs, databases, and event-driven services.
- Build and optimize RAG pipelines including document ingestion, chunking, and vector search.
- Create evaluation frameworks for GenAI to test factuality, relevance, and toxicity.
- Implement observability including agent traces, tool-call logs, and latency/cost metrics.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance including access control and PII handling.
Requirements
- 3–5 years in software engineering with Python, Java, or TypeScript and production deployment experience.
- Hands-on experience building AI agents in AI Foundry and Copilot Studio.
- Strong understanding of LLMs and prompting patterns like system prompts and structured outputs.
- Solid experience with RAG and search technologies including embeddings and vector databases.
- Experience integrating GenAI solutions with REST APIs, microservices, and databases.
- Familiarity with CI/CD, unit/integration testing, and code reviews.
