Role Overview

As an Insurance Software Engineer – Documents, you will develop, maintain, and enhance the document generation and management layer within a DXC GraphTalk-based core insurance platform. Your work will support critical insurance processes spanning policy documentation, customer communications, template management, and output formatting.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain document generation solutions within the insurance platform
• Configure and manage templates for policy documents, customer communications, certificates, endorsements, and other insurance-related outputs
• Develop and maintain document formatting, transformation, and output generation processes
• Work with XML, XSLT, and template-based document generation technologies
• Integrate document services with core insurance applications and business workflows
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into document solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve document generation, formatting, and output delivery issues
• Ensure document outputs comply with business, regulatory, and brand standards
• Participate in testing, deployment, and ongoing support activities
• Contribute to technical documentation and best practices

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant software development experience
• Experience working with DXC GraphTalk is a must-have requirement
• Strong backend development experience using Java
• Experience with document generation, document management, or output management solutions
• Hands-on experience with XML, XSLT, XSD, or similar document templating technologies
• Experience designing and maintaining document templates and output formats
• Understanding of integration concepts and service-oriented architectures
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote and collaborative environment
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
