Role Overview
As an Insurance Software Engineer – Documents, you will develop, maintain, and enhance the document generation and management layer within a DXC GraphTalk-based core insurance platform. Your work will support critical insurance processes spanning policy documentation, customer communications, template management, and output formatting.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain document generation solutions within the insurance platform
- Configure and manage templates for policy documents, customer communications, certificates, endorsements, and other insurance-related outputs
- Develop and maintain document formatting, transformation, and output generation processes
- Work with XML, XSLT, and template-based document generation technologies
- Integrate document services with core insurance applications and business workflows
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into document solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve document generation, formatting, and output delivery issues
- Ensure document outputs comply with business, regulatory, and brand standards
- Participate in testing, deployment, and ongoing support activities
- Contribute to technical documentation and best practices
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant software development experience
- Experience working with DXC GraphTalk is a must-have requirement
- Strong backend development experience using Java
- Experience with document generation, document management, or output management solutions
- Hands-on experience with XML, XSLT, XSD, or similar document templating technologies
- Experience designing and maintaining document templates and output formats
- Understanding of integration concepts and service-oriented architectures
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote and collaborative environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
