Role Overview
As a Software Engineer - Savings Domain & Claims, you will develop, enhance, and support solutions within the Savings and Claims areas of the DXC GraphTalk platform. You will work at the intersection of software engineering and insurance expertise, supporting a core platform managing more than 2 million life, savings, and protection contracts in one of Europe’s largest insurance technology environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, maintain, and enhance applications on the DXC GraphTalk platform
- Support business initiatives within the Savings and Claims domains
- Implement and maintain complex insurance business rules and workflows
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions
- Configure and customize insurance products and processes within DXC GraphTalk
- Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, architects, and other engineering teams
- Participate in application integration, testing, deployment, and production support activities
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues while ensuring system stability and performance
- Contribute to Agile ceremonies, continuous improvement initiatives, and best practices
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant software development or software engineering experience
- Hands-on experience with DXC GraphTalk is a must-have requirement
- Experience working with insurance applications or policy administration systems
- Experience with core insurance systems, ideally DXC GraphTalk or similar platforms (e.g., Guidewire, SAP FS-ICM)
- Experience working in large-scale enterprise environments
- Knowledge of Life Insurance, Savings, Retirement, Unit-Linked, Claims, or Protection Products
- Strong understanding of complex business rules and insurance processes
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Experience working within Agile delivery teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
