Role Overview
As a Software Engineer III at JPMorganChase within the Asset and Wealth Management Technology and 55ip team, you serve as a seasoned member of an agile team to design and deliver trusted market-leading technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. You are responsible for carrying out critical technology solutions across multiple technical areas within various business functions in support of the firm's business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop automation tools and code scripts to stand-up and monitor infrastructure components and security configurations
- Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate and improve release stability and troubleshoot configuration issues
- Provide technical support and assist development teams in debugging environment-specific issues
- Maintain asset inventory and develop containerized applications using Docker
- Provision and manage infrastructure using advanced Terraform techniques and administer Linux-based environments
- Work with databases including PostgreSQL and MongoDB, and write scripts in Python and Bash
- Configure and implement AWS RDS and Aurora services using Terraform
- Monitor and troubleshoot systems using Splunk, Datadog, Dynatrace, or Grafana
- Leverage enterprise-authorized AI coding assist tools to improve code quality and productivity
Requirements
- 3+ years of applied experience in software engineering concepts
- Expertise in administration of AWS Services (EC2, ECS, ELB, S3, Lambda, Postgres RDS/Aurora, ElastiCache, CodeDeploy, and CloudWatch)
- Experience with CI/CD best practices using tools such as Jenkins and Spinnaker
- Hands-on experience using AI-assisted software development tools with the ability to validate outputs for security and performance
- Strong background in infrastructure provisioning and automation
