MERN Stack Developer

Role Overview

Lahara Protocol Labs is engineering next-generation decentralized infrastructure uniting post-quantum blockchain security, DePIN networks, and autonomous intelligence. We are looking for a skilled MERN Stack Developer to work full-time on-site from our Kakkanad office, owning client-facing applications, network monitoring dashboards, and internal protocol management tools.

Responsibilities

• Build, optimize, and maintain responsive web applications, network explorers, and administrative dashboards using React.js and modern UI frameworks (Tailwind CSS, Next.js).
• Design and implement high-throughput RESTful APIs and WebSocket services using Node.js and Express.js.
• Model, index, and manage document datastores in MongoDB, ensuring schema optimization and sub-second query latency.
• Interface web applications directly with backend telemetry pipelines, decentralized storage, and AI service microservices.
• Manage state, caching, and client-side performance using modern tools (Redux Toolkit, TanStack Query, Zustand).
• Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, Cypress, or Playwright).

Requirements

• 2–5 years of full-stack production software development experience centered on the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js).
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of React workflows (Hooks, Context, SSR/SSG patterns) and component modularity.
• Solid grasp of database architecture, aggregation pipelines, and schema indexing in MongoDB.
• Hands-on experience with API security, authentication flows (JWT, OAuth2, session handling), and rate limiting.
• Full commitment to working collaboratively on-site in a team-first environment.
