Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer with strong expertise in ECU Software Development, AUTOSAR, Embedded C, Integration, Validation, and Software Release activities for automotive powertrain projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop and configure ECU software including BSW, OS, RTE, Memory, Multicore and EEPROM.
- Perform ECU software integration, debugging and release activities.
- Analyze customer-specific requirements and support release milestone planning.
- Work with customers and platform teams for software content and delivery timelines.
- Design and clarify software requirements and technical open points.
- Perform system-level validation using HIL/SIL environments.
- Support software debugging, optimization and issue resolution.
- Demonstrate technical ownership and coordinate with project, customer and functional teams.
Requirements
- 3+ Years of experience in Automotive / Powertrain domain.
- B.E./B.Tech in Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE) or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE).
- Strong hands-on experience in Embedded C.
- Good knowledge of AUTOSAR and RTOS.
- Experience in ECU Software Development and Integration.
- Good understanding of Microcontrollers / Microprocessors.
- Experience with automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN FD, LIN, FlexRay, UDS / KWP, SPI.
- Knowledge of AUTOSAR RTE and Port Configuration.
- Understanding of Multicore, Memory Management and Emulated EEPROM.
- Experience with software configuration and requirement management tools such as GIT, SDOM, RQ1/JRS.
- Knowledge of Software Build Process, Compiler and Linker settings.
- Experience in HIL/SIL-based system validation.
